I pray that God will impress upon your heart how you can be involved, not because of the words I have used but by the necessity of this work.
My commitment is to have a long, lasting, lifetime impact in this world. Over the past several years I have taken some big risks and sacrificed a lot. Along with my travels, I have put a lot on hold… job, relationships, and opportunities. I bring this up because I want to attempt to address questions you may have. What I am trying to say is that I am committed to seeing changed lives. While I may not feel completely qualified what is more important is that I feel COMPELLED to do this. Please join me in praying for God to direct my steps as I journey into these great risks. Pray for a fervent heart, ears to hear, and courage to obey.
This may be an opportunity to work there full time in missions. Please consider praying with me as I may need your continued partnership. In order to see the ministry there and catch the vision of Project AmaZon, I will be working there for 6 months with the hopes of a full-time position. YEAH! While there I could be helping with church planting, youth group, discipleship, but I presume I will be doing a bit of everything. They are called PAZ for short and were founded in 1976. They have started over 400 churches in that time. Please pray God leads me where I need to be and that this would become evident to me and to you.
I pray you will consider being a part of reaching out to people and sharing Christ Love in many ways. I am also asking if you will prayerfully consider if you can play a role in this ministry. I have this put upon my heart but in order to go full-time there is a need for funding. I guess putting myself in these shoes has made me re-look at missions. I gripe about the world and the state it is in, we hear reports of percentages of Christians, Muslims, Mormons, Buddhist, and Atheists, and other religions. Yet what am I willing to do about it? Champion the cause. Will you champion the cause with me?
